There are two lakes with one match lake.
Today we can announce some more great news for the club. The committee have worked really hard and it had now paid off as we would like to inform you all that we have now got an agreement with Covey Fishery.
This agreement will be placed into our 2020 licence what does this mean for the club.
Anyone holding a SSHADAA licence will have the opportunity to fish the MATCH LAKE ONLY for just £5 a day when you produce your club licence.
We will have 2 matches at covey fishery next year.
If we can not run a match on the river because it is flooded we have a back up venue at covey fishery.
I must stress that this agreement is for MATCH LAKE ONLY no other lake is in this agreement.
Match Lake
Fishing only on stands.
No cat/dog meat.
No nuts or beans.
3kg of ground bait maximum allowed. (In a 6 hour match)
40lb net limit for silvers.
50lb net limit for carp.
Barbless hooks only (for matches maximum size 10 hook)
All nets, weigh slings and unhooking mats must be dipped before use.
Carp and silvers must be kept in separate nets.
Do not leave your rods unattended when in the water.
No Meat
No Boillies
All bait in moderation please.
When weighing in your fish please keep carp and silvers separate do not mix the fish.
Please weigh all nets separately
All fish are to be weighed using a tripod in a match please
Anyone fishing the fishery should hold an E.A rod licence if asked to produce one you must show it or you will be asked to leave.
Please consider other anglers.
Anyone breaking the rules or anyone causing problems will be asked to leave.
